Description: So, what CAN you do after GDPR? The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will apply in the UK from 25 May 2018.  Steven will be talking a positive view of the new GDPR regulations. He will look at some of the common concerns and help businesses understand what they can do in reality after GDPR has come into force.

About the Speaker
Steven has been a litigator since qualification, having an innate skill for contentious issues.  Since joining Harrison Clark Rickerbys in 2007 he has deployed those skills for the benefit of a variety of clients ranging from large insurance companies to smaller businesses and private individuals.  He spends the majority of his time assisting clients to balance the risks of litigation and their own commercial or personal demands to achieve a satisfactory solution in a cost efficient manner.

He is experienced in a wide range of contentious issues including; product liability, breaches of restrictive covenants, professional negligence, contractual disputes and insolvency issues.  However, his specialism is in Intellectual Property issues such as copyright and trade mark infringements and domain name disputes.

Steven has assisted a client in the automotive engineering sector on the collapse of a multi-million pound contractual relationship. He has also been involved in discussions with a Member of Parliament over regulations for the disposal of shower units.
