This “Meet the Buyers Event” will enable you to explore the supply chain opportunities that the huge A417 development might offer local businesses?

This free, all-day online event will link suppliers with our main contractors, who are responsible for employing sub-contractors and sub-consultants and delivering multi-million pound road improvement schemes across the country.

The virtual Meet the Buyers event will be attended by Kier Highways, the delivery integration partner appointed to design and build the A417 Missing Link if the scheme gets consent. There will be an opportunity for local suppliers to get a better understanding of Kier’s requirements and timescales, plus have one-to-one discussions about their purchasing requirements.

You will need to register for the Supply Chain Sustainability School’s website, which is free and easy to do. It’s a useful resource for local businesses and provides hours of free training and National Highways specific learning resources, which can help upskill smaller companies so they can become National Highways suppliers.
