Cheltenham Zero Carbon Workshop for Community Groups

22nd February 2022 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Time: 9:30 – 12:00

Location: St Mark’s Methodist Church, Gloucester Road, Cheltenham GL51 8PXSt Mark’s Methodist Church, Gloucester Road, Cheltenham GL51 8PXSt

CheltenhamZero is hosting their second Carbon Workshop on the 22nd February. This workshop will be of interest to Cheltenham-based community groups, with an aim to provide information that representatives can share with individuals involved with their organisation. However, anyone who is on a journey to Net Zero Carbon is welcome to attend.

The session will include a useful workshop with Eoin McQuone (Go Climate Positive) who will talk us through the carbon footprinting process. Following this, Dai Jeremiah (EV Future Solutions) will talk to us about electric vehicles, solar panels/batteries and how technology such as these can help us reach Net Zero Carbon.

CheltenhamZero’s first Carbon Workshop took place on the 26th January and was received extremely well. Darren Morris (Club Manager, East Glos Club) attended and said:

‘I attended the Cheltenham Net Zero Carbon Workshop which was extremely useful in helping us towards our commitment to our environmental sustainability policy. We have already been in touch with Neil from MyPowerUk to visit the Club to discuss solar panels. Well done to CheltenhamZero for organising’.
