Designing Products to Meet Net Zero Criteria

Approaching product design from a sustainability perspective is important in understanding a company’s carbon footprint, as well as joining the circular economy. Understanding how to undertake a carbon audit across a company’s operations is also an essential part in starting a journey to Net Zero. This fully funded event provides the perfect introduction to carbon auditing and how to calculate a carbon footprint.

This free event will be held at the Cheltenham Growth Hub at Hub8 by Plexal delivered at the new MX (Minster Exchange). GL50 3JY

About the speakers

Andrew Aylesbury

Mdes Transport & Product Design, Coventry University. 15+ years of product design consultancy experience and founding partner of Duku in 2013. As Director at Duku, Andrew is responsible for delivering projects for clients including start-ups, SMEs and large funded consortium projects. He has extensive design and project management experience, as well as commercialisation stratergy. Andrew has managed several Innovate UK funded projects relating to accessibility, inclusive design and EV charging infrastructure.

Andrew McKenzie (Specialist Business Guide – Sustainability)

Andrew is a sustainable-business leader focused on helping organisations lighten their footprint as they address the opportunities and challenges of climate change. He has worked across multiple sectors supporting clients to develop and embed purpose-driven strategies within their operations and is the Growth Hub Guide on Net Zero. Andrew will be presenting on carbon auditing and how it is the starting point to Net Zero.
