How To Maximise Benefits From The Growing Nuclear Industry
7th November 2024 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am

EDF who are Members of our partner Chamber, Business West, are holding a breakfast and networking event to hear about the opportunities from Bristol’s growing nuclear industry.
With Hinkley Point C being the first of a new generation of nuclear power stations, Bristol and the wider region has a key advantage in winning future growth. Based on long-standing nuclear expertise, the area is well placed to benefit from new opportunities to support Sizewell C and Small Modular Reactors at Oldbury and Berkeley.
The Cheltenham Chamber is keen to help local businesses win a bigger share of major developments and helped set up the Together Gloucestershire project with this aim. The event is in Bristol, but Members who want to get a view of some of the opportunities that could come from these huge investments might be interested.
Attendees will hear from key figures in the industry, supply chain and academia, who are driving the growth of a sector essential for energy security and in the fight against climate change.
