Brought to our attention by Cheltenham Growth Hub.
About the Opportunity:
Early next year Galliford Try Infrastructure Ltd expect to be publishing tender opportunities for Gloucestershire County Council’s M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme and we are looking for subcontractors (particularly those with a local presence) to include on our tender bid lists.
The scheme will see significant improvements to M5 Junction 10, a new road linking Junction 10 to West Cheltenham and widening of the A4019 Tewkesbury Road, and works are planned to begin in 2026.
Major packages will include:
– Traffic Management
– Demolition
– Drainage
– Earthworks
– Surfacing
– FRC
– Technology Support
– Structural Steel work
About the buyer’s selection process:
A bid list will be compiled and packages will be tendered via a competitive tender process. The tenders will be scored using a combination of commercial and qualitative considerations depending on the package.
The project will deliver a high Social Value benefit to the local community and the Supply Chain will pay a major part in fulfilling that commitment.
