DESCRIPTION:Business West Chamber and Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce invite you to The Bank of England’s South West Monetary Policy Report Briefing\, held at the Leonardo Hotel\, Cheltenham. \nWith a succession of global events and national policy initiatives impacting the economy and critically consumer and business confidence\, an informative and objective assessment is essential context for businesses. \nOpen to Chamber members and businesses from the local community\, this event will give you the chance to hear the latest updates from The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy report. \nMalindi Myers\, Agent for the Bank of England’s Agency for the South West\, will cover the Bank’s latest analysis and forecasts on GDP and demand\, the labour market\, inflation and the monetary policy response. Those in attendance will have the chance to feed into the discussions raised by the Monetary Policy Committee\, helping to shape their decision on the position of interest rates. \nThere will also be ample opportunities for networking with other attendees from across the three chamber networks. \nTea\, coffee\, breakfast pastries and rolls will be provided. \nThis event is free to Cheltenham Chamber and Business West members.
