Free 30-minute legal consultation for businesses affected by COVID-19

Leading Gloucestershire law firm Willans LLP is providing free legal consultations for businesses affected by the COVID-19 situation.

Lawyers from the firm’s Legal 500-rated corporate & commercial, employment, commercial property and dispute resolution teams are pitching in to offer their support to businesses navigating their way through the pandemic.

Businesses can find out how to access the support by visiting this page.

Willans’ managing partner, Bridget Redmond said “There are very few businesses in the county, indeed globally, who can say they haven’t been affected adversely by the pandemic so we want to try and do our bit to help. Our lawyers are offering 30 minutes of their expertise free of charge to businesses in need of a legal consultation as a result of the situation.

“Many businesses are finding themselves facing cashflow issues as a result of supplier contracts that are no longer fit-for-purpose, for example, and others are trying to keep on the right legal footing when furloughing staff. Times are stressful enough without legal worries, so we’re thankful that we’re able to provide businesses with some clarity on their legal position.”

Willans has been operating for over 70 years from its Gloucestershire headquarters. The firm is also offering a library of free legal resources and articles via a COVID-19 legal insights hub on its website.

If the COVID-19 pandemic is causing legal headaches for your business, there is support available. Contact Willans to assess your legal options and find out more about the next steps.
