Chamber members Cleevely EV Motors were a main sponsor of this year’s “From the Ground Up” festival on Saturday 4th of Feb, at St Philips and St James Church, Leckhampton
Spirax Sarco, Vision 21 / Planet Cheltenham, the Royal Agricultural University and Cheltenham Borough Council were among those who exhibited or gave talks.
Hundreds of people attended. It focussed on the benefits of reducing waste, recycling, repairing and re-using materials every day and how we can take action to make the Lifecycle of our Lifestyle more sustainable – and often more affordable.
The festival is aptly named. If we are to achieve the town’s Cheltenham Zero pledge by 2030, action needs to be taken at all levels from grass roots to boardroom and local government.
