New University of Gloucestershire Bootcamps boost Digital Skills in business

Skills Bootcamps are flexible courses of up to 16 weeks (from September 2021 to March 2022), giving people the opportunity to build up much needed tech skills.

The University of Gloucestershire will deliver the following Bootcamps:

Cyber Analyst

– Data Analyst

– Software Engineer

They provide best-in-class digital skills education. and deliver resilient pathways to work. Each step of the Skills Bootcamp journey is high-quality and tailored to meet the needs of employers and those looking to upskill and boost their employability.

As an employer, you can send any of you own people who need to upskill in these areas and discuss how to tweak the curriculum to your specific needs. You will only have to pay 30% of the cost, the remainder being covered by the DfE.

The courses are also ideal for job seekers and self-employed people who want to boost the skills so vital to the future of work.

Digital Skills Bootcamps were developed as part of the strategy to address the nation’s digital skills gap. The University of Gloucestershire, University of Bath, Bath Spa University, the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) and Wiltshire College and University Centre have collaborated with the Institute of Coding (IoC), iStart/Restart, Deloitte and Digital Engineering Technology and Innovation (DETI) to develop and deliver the programme.
