Description
Community Roots CIC works to ignite action for social change to bring about a more equal and inclusive society.
We are pioneers of Community Organising in Gloucestershire and have built up a portfolio of evidence to show that using this approach creates positive change. We work with communities to develop their confidence, use their voices and skills to take action on the things that really matter to them in order to create changes that will have a positive impact on their lives and the wider community.
We work with resident groups, VCSE organisations, local government agencies and statutory authorities to effectively engage with people and support them to develop and deliver social action projects.

Consultancy Service -
We are experienced in delivering commissioned pieces of engagement work and use a collaborative approach to deliver projects. We also offer facilitation services.
Project Management and Support -
We work with people and organisations to deliver community led projects and social action, creating solutions with communities as a legacy of work together.
Community Conversations -
Our community conversation initiative combines all of our experience of working in communities to offer a full program of work, including engagement, support, analysis and reporting.
Training and Mentoring -
In Community Organising methodology, facilitation techniques, community engagement, social enterprise, group dynamics, power analysis and associated subjects.
