Lines design and build new website for local charity, Let’s Talk Well…the new incarnation of Teens in Crisis / TIC+

Let’s Talk Well provides free counselling and support for 9-25 year olds, and their parents and carers. For over 30 years the charity has served young people as TIC+, but as times change, the charity realised their name had often become a barrier to the young people accessing its services.

Prioritising audience groups
A major part of the charity’s rebrand, the new website is central to its communications and service offering. It’s often the first place service users will go to when looking for help. Prioritising those audience groups (who are often in distress, nervous and unsure of how to reach out for help) and making their experience as easy and seamless as possible has been essential.

The website also supports the charity’s strategic plans for growth, helping it engage with a broader spectrum of people, including trainee counsellors, supporters and fundraisers, potential employees and other service providers.

Early feedback has been extremely positive, from young service users through to associates of the charity.

Optimising user experience
The website is built using the Webflow platform with the design making the most of the charity’s engaging new brand design style. As with all website projects, Lines has focused on optimising user experience. This has been achieved by ensuring the site is easy to use across devices, pages load quickly, and best practice accessibility standards are implemented throughout.

A glowing testimonial…

“Creating a new website to reflect our new brand was critical to Let’s Talk Well, we needed a website which met the needs of the young people and their families we are here to support.

Lines recognised this from the outset, and we’ve been very impressed with their ability to understand our organisation and reflect our vision, mission and values in the website they have created.

The way in which they worked, which was a perfect balance of calm, caring and professional, meant the daunting website aspect of the rebrand turned into a positive and enjoyable experience. This approach was evident right from first discussion with Duncan, through to him attending our launch event and Sam’s enthusiasm to work with our Young People’s Voices Group.

The commitment to delivering a high-quality product, within a tight timescale, has resulted in a website we are proud to share, and we are very pleased we chose to partner with The Lines Group and trusted them with our website!

We are so pleased we chose Lines.”
