What You’ve Missed So Far on Cyber Made Human Series 2

The response to the launch of Cyber Made Human’s second series has got off to an impressive start, with a glamorous launch event at Ocho, a mention in SoGlos and a live talk by Host Alice Violet at London’s 2025 Podcast Show! We’re also excited to be accepting sponsors for Series 2, which enables us to keep creating this impactful show!

In our first three episodes, we’ve tackled Cheltenham vs Silicon Valley with Mark Adams; an entrepenur who has been an insider in both worlds, welcomed back a favourite guest from Series 1: Duck (Paul Ducklin), to debate the pros and cons of government legislation plus we did a technical deep dive with one of Gloucestershire University’s brightest lecturers Joe Cox.

Haven’t seen the new episodes yet? Here’s a quick recap, and most importantly, where you can watch the full episodes!

What Happens When Big Tech Says No to Government?

Guest: Paul Ducklin (Duck)

After the response to Duck’s appearance in Series 1, we were delighted to invite him back to the show to hear more of his insights. This time, we discuss the UK government’s demand to weaken the encryption level of Apple’s iCloud Plus service, resulting in the withdrawal of the enhanced service from the UK market. We also discuss the growing challenge of knowledge and speed in technical innovation and debate the pros and cons of government legislation.
