A Cheltenham-based technology startup is inviting local businesses to take part in a 60-day pilot of SMART Hub, a new AI-powered platform designed to help owners and managers see what is happening across their company in one place.
SMART Hub connects to the systems many organisations already use, including accounts, email, sales, customer support, ecommerce, deliveries and reviews. It then helps identify the issues that need attention, from late invoices and customer churn risks to operational delays and missed follow-ups.
The aim is not to replace people or let AI run the business. SMART Hub is designed to support owners and their teams by giving them clearer visibility, better priorities and practical next steps. In essence it helps leaders see what needs doing to move the business forward.
Bob Ottley, founder of bSMART AI, said: “We are building SMART Hub here in Cheltenham, and we would like Gloucestershire firms to help shape a product that we believe can benefit companies across the UK.
“There is a lot of hype around AI, and many owners are understandably unsure what is useful and what is just noise. Our view is simple: AI should be an enabler. It should help people make better decisions, save time and spot problems earlier, not replace human judgement.”
As part of the pilot, selected local businesses will be offered access to SMART Hub for 60 days, with support during setup and the opportunity to provide direct feedback on what would make the platform more useful in practice.
