IT Schools Africa
ITSA was established in 2004 to accelerate education in Africa with a vision to address the problem of textbook and IT equipment shortages in African schools. The charity has a uniquely holistic approach to sending refurbished computers to Africa. In the UK, the programme supports the local community - working with prisons, the unemployed and schools - to refurbish computers, clean them of data and prepare them for shipping. In Africa, we provide high quality computers, IT teaching training and technical support to schools and ensure the sustainable and effective use of all equipment.
