We are a small local charity based at Cheltenham and Gloucester hospitals, supporting patients undergoing challenging intensive chemotherapy for Leukaemia and other blood cancers. Leukaemia can affect anyone at any time, any age. We provide essential extras like professional counselling and equipment that the NHS cannot afford to fund - together with a research nurse to help patients into trials (patients in trials tend to do better).

We have also built new outpatients departments, upgraded facilities for wheelchair access, provided comfortable chairs for long transfusions, as well as providing internet & sky tv, exercise bikes and financial support for those whose treatments involve months of solitary confinement at the hospital.

LINC was founded in 1998 by Dr Robert Dalton and director Dr Gill Rouse.  We are extremely grateful for the long standing support of both local business and the community.
