Court of a different kind was in session for Cheltenham lawyers Harrison Clark Rickerbys when they hosted a fundraising netball tournament in aid of the Pied Piper Appeal.
With 14 teams taking part from a wide range of organisations including Gloucestershire police, Dean Close School, Scottish Widows, Crowe UK, Journey and SLG, the event, held at All Saints Academy in Cheltenham, raised more than £2,000 for the appeal which supports sick and disabled children.
Rich Wilkey, head of the firm’s Cheltenham office and a Pied Piper trustee, said: “Our congratulations to the winners, Close Quarters from Dean Close School – this will definitely be an annual event because it was great fun and a fantastic way to support a well-loved local charity.”
Organiser Fiona Hayles, a partner at the firm, said: “We were delighted with the day – everyone was welcome and there was a fantastic atmosphere.”
