GFirstLEP have kindly provided us with  a briefing paper with an update on all of the key transport infrastructure schemes and activities currently on-going for Gloucestershire. The two largest schemes, the A417 Missing Link and the M5 Junction 10 upgrade are both progressing towards approval from the Secretary of State and there is now a high level of confidence that both schemes will become a reality in the next few years. The A40 West Cheltenham Improvements scheme is now almost complete and collectively all of the detailed schemes will deliver a huge step change to the transport infrastructure of Gloucestershire by the end of 2026 if the currently anticipated timescales are achieved.
