Regional law firm Lodders has confirmed a new sponsorship deal as part of its ongoing support of Hartpury College and Hartpury University.
The firm is supporting Hartpury’s inaugural Kick Start Campaign that is designed to offer sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities across sporting academies and teams at Hartpury.
Lodders, which has offices in Cheltenham, Birmingham, Henley-in-Arden and Stratford Upon Avon, will also continue its sponsorship of the Hartpury-Gloucester Women’s Rugby Team which, together with its backing of the Kick Start Campaign, realises its aim to forge even closer links with Hartpury’s exceptional network.
Consistently awarded top tier ranking by both the Chambers UK and Legal 500 directors for the best firms and lawyers in the legal profession, Lodders provides legal advice to private clients and privately owned businesses, across its portfolio of sector and market specific legal teams, that includes dedicated rural, agricultural, real estate and prestige property law. The firm has 26 partners and more than 160 fee earners and support staff across its office network.
Hartpury’s rugby and agricultural credentials need very little introduction, and the educational institution recently unveiled a £2million Agri-Tech Centre, as well as a new Tech Box Park which will support smart farming technologies and opportunities to collaborate on real-world projects.
More than 20 England Under-20s and 10 senior England squad members have come through Hartpury’s rugby programme. A number of other players have also earned full-time 7s and full-time 15s contracts. Hartpury’s rugby links extend beyond UK stores too, with connections in the USA, Hong Kong, France and Canada.
“When the opportunity arose to join the Kick Start campaign, we jumped at the chance.” says Paul Mourton, Lodders’ Managing Partner.
“Hartpury College and Lodders are both progressive, ambitious, prestigious organisations, that are committed to supporting and engaging with their local communities.
“Lodders has worked with businesses and individuals in the rural and agriculture sectors for all the firm’s 230 years, and this interest, knowledge and passion reinforces just how well aligned the firm and Hartpury College are.
“Across the firm, we enjoy taking an active part in our local community, Our sponsorship and support of Hartpury College and Hartpury University, the new Kick Start Campaign, and the Hartpury-Gloucester Women’s Rugby Team represent an excellent fit for Lodders and our values.

As a result, we hope to nurture more incredible player talent in the months and years to come” said Stuart Emmerson, Director of Business Development.

Each package comes with a variety of benefits including prominent brand exposure, access to facilities at Hartpury, and commercial social value opportunities.
