Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Clubs of Cheltenham have teamed up to conduct a survey on the attitudes and activities of Cheltenham residents when it comes to community involvement. They are looking for the support of Chamber Members to complete the survey and help spread the word.

Local Rotary Member, Nigel Knowlman explained the rationale behind the survey:

“Both Rotary and the Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce are very keen to get a better understanding of local peoples’ attitudes to community involvement. We want to better understand what they currently do, how this has been impacted by COVID and what their future intentions are. We are also keen to gain insight into their perception of their employer’s activities around this topic. We are immensely grateful to the Chamber for their help in getting this message out and very much hope that members will encourage their employees to take part in the survey as well”.

The survey is part of work that the Rotary Clubs of Cheltenham are doing to plan for a new E Club that might appeal more to busy, younger people. One aspect of the Club under consideration is the connecting of people who wish to volunteer with volunteering opportunities.
