With Christmas lights adorning the ancient 14th century coaching inn, nestled in the heart of picturesque Broadway, the team will have even more to celebrate this festive season, with the announcement that The Lygon Arms has been voted the ‘Cotswolds Best Hotel of the Year 2023’.
The Cotswolds Awards, established by Cotswolds Concierge in 2015, celebrate the very best this beautiful destination has to offer, from charming villages and idyllic countryside to award-winning restaurants and unique visitor attractions. All businesses that have been nominated were voted for by the public, and the winners were announced on the 1st December.

This year also saw a new restaurant partnership with Chef James Martin when he unveiled GRILL in February 2023 and TAVERN March 2023, both restaurants have become amongst the most sought-after restaurants in the Cotswolds and follow in the footsteps of James Martin’s phenomenal success at The Lygon Arms’ sister hotel in Hampshire, Chewton Glen, where James and his talented brigade of chefs developed a stand-out menu at The Kitchen Restaurant & Cookery School following its launch in 2017.
