Golf and Women’s Rugby at the “Heart” of New Kick Start Campaign

Cityheart has become the latest company to add its name to Hartpury University and Hartpury College’s Kick Start Campaign, announcing its sponsorship of the Golf and Women’s Rugby Academies.

The successful property development and investment company has been developing public and private sector projects since 2005. From its offices in Chester and Wilmslow, Cityheart has delivered specialist healthcare, judicial, extra care, education, mixed use, residential and student accommodation and regeneration schemes across the UK.

The firm has a proven track record for driving value for money into client projects through testing all aspects of the market and seeking out the most competitive funding terms through institutional and other mainstream funders.

“As a business, we recognised the importance of reinvesting back into the communities we serve,” said Mark McNamee, Managing Director of Cityheart.

“Hartpury’s Sports Academy Kick Start Campaign is a great way for us to give back to the local community. Through our support, the academies will continue to thrive, delivering opportunities for all to excel and follow their passions,” he added.

New for 2021, the Hartpury Kick Start Campaign offers sponsorship, commercial and social value partnership opportunities across the outstanding sporting academies at Hartpury.

More than 20 England Under-20s and 10 senior England squad members have come through Hartpury’s rugby programme. A number of other players have also earned full-time 7s and full-time 15s contracts. Hartpury’s rugby links extend beyond UK stores too, with connections in the USA, Hong Kong, France and Canada.

Hartpury’s Golf Academy is also highly regarded, with students benefiting from training alongside specialist PGA-qualified professionals and access to state-of-the-art facilities.

Hartpury University and Hartpury College are delighted to collaborate with Cityheart,” says Stuart Emmerson, Director of Business Development at Hartpury.

“What’s particularly exciting is how this partnership goes beyond purely commercial interests. It’s about community development, nurturing talent and investing in facilities for the next generation of talent to thrive,” he added.

The Kick Start Campaign consists of sponsorship package opportunities covering sports academies such as equine, modern pentathlon, rowing, football and more. Each package comes with a variety of benefits including prominent brand exposure, access to facilities at Hartpury, and commercial social value opportunities.
