Will a skills gap undermine our recovery? Please take this short survey.

The pandemic has had massive impact on many sectors of the economy. Sadly, post furlough, many will find themselves without a job.

However, it has accelerated some trends that were present before, most notably in the digital transformation of business.

As a result, there is an ever-widening skills gap. A study by the Work and Learning Institute earlier this year found that 76% of employers felt a shortage of digital skills would hit their profitability.

The development of a flexible, skilled workforce is fundamental to a sound recovery and the long-term prosperity of our town and county.

Please complete this short survey compiled by gfirstLEP which will help inform the Skills Strategy for Gloucestershire and will help local skills and training providers to better meet the needs of your and other organisations.
